My goal is to celebrate Shabbat with a nice sit-down dinner with my husband (not in front of the TV!), where we’ll light the candles and say the blessings. To me, at this point in my life, Shabbat isn’t about no-cooking or no-driving or no-turning-the-lights-on-and-off, but about taking a moment to enjoy family and life.

I’ve kind of been slacking with the candles & blessings. Today is Friday, so I’d better stop by the grocery store to get some Challah!
