that is a big australian thing.. it came from this ph directory ad we had where Jan forgot to place the business ad in the Yellow Pages.. and the boss chased her down the street yelling JAN! JAN!!
so then everyone started saying ‘not happy, jan!’ and um, it is a lot more funny when yr watching it! Promise!

Funny how phrases from ads can catch on. I read that and was like ‘what? Not happy jan???’ Don’t think it’s one I’ll pick up and run with though sorry!!

I used to work with a guy and we all called him jan, because one time he made this big mistake and someone called out NOT HAPPY JAN… it just stuck! hehe x
