I would have to disagree…what I like to do is not buy or read things I don’t like…but not get it removed so others who may enjoy it can’t…one other point…I read the issues that talk about where to meet men…and then go there and wait….

I don't understand the people

who like to appoint themselves as our moral guardians either. I’m with you – if you don’t like it – don’t read it or watch it or listen to it.

I get especially annoyed with people who are trying to be the moral guardians of my children. That is my job thank you. We have a few bored ladies around here who like to troll through the library shelves to find “inappropriate” books to complain about. Thankfully, they keep getting overruled. If they don’t want their kids to read something like that – go to the library with them and guide them in their book choices. Jeez.

Probably...

half of the books that were required reading when I was in school are now banned…Catcher In The Rye and Lord Of the Flies are a few examples…they are both loaded with observations and life lessons…sadly, the delivery of such gems doesn’t pass muster…:(

I agree, people should patrol their own lives…

my kids read both of those

in school – not banned here at least.

I especially love the crazy super fundie anti Harry Potter lady we have here. She tried to have the books removed from the school libraries even though she admits she never read them. She is convinced from some website that they are turning all good children into evil witches and sorcerers..

She keeps losing and then continues to pursue her cause at higher and higher levels. I’m sure she’s gunning for the Supreme Court.

I’ve certainly enjoyed things classified as evil at times…rock and metal music, video games that contained violence and the collectable card game “Magic The Gathering” for just a couple examples…

I’m not fit to mix with society…

I didn't understand...

what all the hoopla was about…Cosmo is pretty straightforward and I didn’t freak out when my daughter would bring home a new issue every month when she was in high school…Maybe they thought it was dirty or in poor taste…I always thought it tasted like any other magazine…

I didn’t see the person, only the card…but I outed them to the 43things community…you may have to come and help me battle prudishness Mel…

I don't know what's wrong with me...

but i always want to get a look at people who do off the wall things….

i.e. I was totally cut off on the freeway the other day…I had to slam my breaks not to back-end this person….

So I speed up and go around…for no other reason than I want to look at them….so I’m leaning over my passenger giving the staredown…

She was a manly looking broad with a …just about a buzz cut…looked to be in her 30s….

I guess I just have some kind of obnoxious curiosity where I want to stare at people that I perceive as unlike me…

I've never found anything wrong with you...

I seem to have the same curiosity of seeing who the perpetrator is close up…just to satisfy me…looking at a manly looking broad with a buzz cut might make me think of many things…some of them should not be discussed here but through private e mail under cover of darkness…

I hate drivers who act like their car is a nerf ball…

Maybe she just wanted to meet you and that was her ham handed attempt at doing so…
