The tricky thing is, how do I uproot everything? Where would I even start?

Just do it

you look fairly young, just go for it. i think when you are 80 you will look back on the experience and not regret it.

Heey! Not a bad idea!
Now all I need is a friend that lives overseas, and getting one is probably easier said than done, but it’s a start.
If you ever do the overseas thing, maybe you could give me some tips, if I don’t beat you to it!
Thank you!!

Just a thought...

I’ve been involved in an international postcard club over the past few months and have made lots of global friendships…Some of which, I stay in touch with on a regular basis. I feel that if I were ready to live abroad, I have made lots of friends around the world that may be willing to help me. Maybe a club like this could help you establish connections…Good luck.

It's ON!

Wow, thanks to you, I am a little more aware!
I had no idea there were those kind of opportunities to travel. I mean it’s one thing to go somewhere as a tourist, but like you said, immersing yourself in the culture more like a local is a thousandx better!
I’ve actually never been to Texas. Have you even thought about Virginia, honestly?? lol.. With all the culture you seem to be into, you probably would be bored stiff. I stuggle to find cultural stimulation here, but googling events that you’d never hear about helps a lot!
I can’t resist a good challenge/contest. Although, I don’t think you’d enjoy losing.. ;)
