This is the story of an anonymous act of kindness that has blessed me! I’m involved in another group: 43things.com. The question we ask ourselves is: What do you want to do with the rest of your life? We are a huge group of people, from around the world, that help and encourage each other in meeting our goals in life. I’ve been a member since 2005. One of my goals was to have “a new and fulfilling experience in Sept., Oct & Nov. ‘07” My way to fulfill this for Oct. was to throw the “best pink princess party” ever for my soon-to-be four year old. I was so excited that I had managed to save $100.00 to go towards her birthday. There are over one-hundred people that “adopted” that goal. One of those people (I don’t know her) has adopted (in spirit) my daughter! When she first approached me I thought I thought she was talking about giving me some advice on some way-cool games and ways to decorate for cheap. I was wrong! This woman, whom I’ve never met, asked me if she could send me a package. I got online and checked out here 43 things and realized I had been following her for awhile. Just didn’t recognize her name. After my acceptance she asked me how many, when & what kind of princess is her favorite, and is sending me a package on Monday.

Just so you know, the last couple of years I have had some pretty wonderful acts of kindness from people, when my life seemed hard or when I wanted to do something and I could not afford to do it. The last year my children and I have gone thru the drive thru and paid for the people behind us and zoomed off. We have a wonderful time doing it but It is getting a little old . So now, I thought my daughters and I could help you with your daughter’s party. Let me ask you some questions. First- When is her bday and when are you planning on having it? Second- Does she have any favorite characters (disney princess or Hello Kitty) Let me know. It would help. Hopefully her bday isn’t this weekend- :(.

My 9 year old daughter is SO excited about this. Here are my plans so far. Please don’t spend your budget till you get my package. I plan on mailing it out on Monday and get it there as soon as possible. Then you can spend your budget on what you feel you need. :)
We are SO excited about this. We are having a girls night tomorrow night w/ my sister and now she is excited too! Woohoo!
