it’s odd
i was listening to the queens of the stone age song, and i wondered, “just how do you go with the flow?”
i’ve always been somewhat apathetic in my life (could be to do with my messed up head)
when it comes down to it, there’s no real reason for existance, so i just took everything that came towards me in life as it came

due to recent circumstances (i.e. almost dying), i’ve come to realize something
life is a one shot thing
everything is only one shot
there’s no second chance, no rewind, no respawn, no newround

so when it comes down to it, i shouldnt just be taking life as it comes
i should be enjoying it
i should be savouring every moment of it
not just the good, but also the bad
because everything only happens once
besides, who would want to just sit and wait apathetically whilst they get laid
