When I was a little girl 4 years ago

My grandfather was a NYC fire chief, and sometimes on visits to see my him and my step-grandmother, he took us to the fire station and let us do all the things little kids love—sliding down the pole, riding the fire truck, playing with the dalmation, etc.

This brings back great memories...

My dad was a fireman, and when I was growing up, I would spend time at his fire station too.I had a blast sliding down the pole, playing on the trucks,and going to christmas parties there with my family. Thanks for reminding me, I haven’t thought about this for years!
