live in a foreign country (read all 3 entries…)

Worth doing!

I've lived in France and England  — 10 months ago

I’ve just returned from a semester abroad. I’ve been home for a few months, actually but I got rock fever within a month of being back. Rock fever because I’m on an island. :(

I can’t wait for the next country. As of now, I’m planning to be in Europe somewhere in early 2009 and then another country in late 2009 or 2010.

*Ahhh!*

I’m so jealous ~ France is my dream!

Where?

Which part of France do you most want to visit? Paris was amazing…I love it. I can’t wait to go back. :)

Be prepared for amazing pastries!

*Mostly I would like to visit...*

Paris and the South of France. They both seem as if they are absolutely beautifl places to travel. (My family originated from France, and I would love to find and visit the area where they were from).

I’ve tried several times, with no sucess, to get family members to go there with me!

Lovely!

Wow. That’s awesome. Have you looked into your French roots? :D It must be a cool heritage to have.

Try harder, try harder!

Do you like museums? Promise you’ll make time for the Musee d’Orsay when you visit Paris!! :D It’s my absolute favorite and it is a gem. A guidebook of mine admits it to being a gem too – that if that writer had only enough time to visit one museum in Paris, it’d be the Orsay. It’s a converted train station (so amazing architectural style) and has tons of impressionist works. There are also sculptures if you like those :) and I do! :D

*I haven't researched it in depth...*

but would love to give it a try! I am sure that I have distant relatives over there now, from what my mother has told me about my great-grandfather!

The museum sounds awesome ~ a converted train station with works of art sounds amazing and very interesting! I will definately look this up…

Thanks for the suggestion!
