Read Farewell to Arms. SOOO frustrating. Catherine is painfully insecure and easily manipulated; Frederick just messes with her head and gets her pregnant. Not a believeable love story.

I have a hard time with Hemingway too. Even getting through one of his THIN books is tough. Because he’s such a dry writer. I love rich details and language. H doesn’t seem to have that.
