manage my fibromyalgia (read all 14 entries…)
I'm just surprised 2 years ago

that they still have Chronic Fatigue listed as this whole separate thing. The only big difference between CF & FM if with FM you have pain. But really all of the autoimmune symptoms overlap with each other so it is really hard to pinpoint what is what.
It kind blew me away just now when I read that you can compare the symptoms to: “The suffering that can be experienced by a patient with ME/CFIDS has been likened to an AIDS patient in the last two months of life and/or a terminal cancer patient.” Yes, It is easier just to a take nap then to push myself for one day, because I do feel week and lifeless for three days for that one day of fun and it sucks! :(

You have no idea how much I HATE taking naps! I want to go hard all day like I used to & not have it kick my butt!

Croppy, how do you stay in such a good mood...

when you feel so bad? You are always so funny and chipper, no one would ever know. I just read where Serenity has the same thing, and told her I remembered you said you had it. (That’s why I’m over here investigating)

I just read all of this. Man, it must suck to feel bad all the time. I assume there hasn’t been a lot of research on it or something? I keep hearing more and more people say they have this. It looks like they could come up with something that really works!

I hope you find something, and feel better.

CropTillDawn~ Fragile? Must be Italian!

I just hide

and put myself in a Time Out when I get cranky.
Sure I get sick and tired of being sick and tired.
After 13 years of it, I wish I could keep up with all of my hyper energy and not have to take these dumb naps. I have just learned to pace myself and to take some naproxen for the aches and pain. I don’t want to be on vicodin like so many people that have what I have. I don’t like that drugged out feeling. I do miss caffeine but I just don’t have anything to draw from. It is ok from time to time :)
I do miss out on a lot of the things that my kids and hubby do on the weekends but that is when I try to rest so that I can take care of them while he is at work. I just try to keep it all in balanced. It has been a blessing in disguised because now he spends more time with them then he used to.
Quite a few celebs have it or variations of it. Cher and Sinead O’Conner have it. That is why you have not heard from them in a while.
One of the reasons I keep it high up on my list is so that if anyone has it or knows anyone they can feel free to ask me anything about it. I’m sure I feel like something of an expert on this subject whether I like it or not. It’s like my son and his ADD you have to become your own advocate.
Thanks sweetheart, I really hope I feel better one day too :D
