I visited Saigon last summer, and I have to say that it was one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever laid eyes on. Visiting my home city in China honestly doesn’t feel much different from the suburbs, but one single sight has made sure that I will never forget Vietnam.
After climbing to the roof of my hotel, when I looked out, I saw small one houses stretching until the horizon in every single direction. I couldn’t move. It just made me realize that there are people down there. People live here. It was a refreshing change from the bustling, but utterly cold metropolis I’ve come to know.
