Tomorrow begins the second annual challenge called National Knit a Sweater Month. Similar to NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), NaKniSweMo challenges participants to complete a sweater in 30 days. The guidelines suggest that most sweaters will have at least 50,000 stitches in thesem, similar to the 50,000 word challenge of NaNoWriMo.

I’m going to give this a shot, using some yarn that I purchased earlier in the fall. Others who are considering knitting a sweater might want onto this bandwagon too!
