Because it is the most passionate interaction between two dancers that i have ever seen. I want to be able to dance with that poise that passion that strength that precision. While other forms are romantic like ballet and ballroom or fun like salsa and swing the tango is in a whole different league for me.
Its something i aspire to achieve purely for joy and pleasure.
I never see two tango dancers look at each other much. So yes theres definately something sexual there but for me the most romantic dance is the waltz.
Good luck with learning Tango (and finding someone worth dancing with :D ).
