Get my groove back (read all 13 entries…)
Maybe 1 year ago

maybe not. I’m taking a break from cleaning the house (after far too many weeks of laziness), and generally preparing for Dad’s b-day dinner tomorrow. I’m motivated, I want to do stuff, I’m actually not in pain for the first time in weeks…

...but I think I’m coming down with a cold. Argh. Maybe it’s just allergies (please oh please) – my only symptom thus far is persistent, violent sneezing and the hint of congestion. That could be allergies, right?

I suppose I ought to hurry up and finish cleaning, so at least if I am getting sick, I’ll get to be sick in a clean apartment.

Maybe if I put the list here

I will be shamed into doing some of the things on it. To do, hopefully by the end of the week:

- Exchange ThinkGeek t-shirt
- Return Victoria’s Secret clothes
- Put in maintenance request re: toilet, tub, miniblind, gas fireplace (as interesting as that sounds, I promise they all have individual disorders)
- Get car’s oil changed
- Finish cleaning house
- Purchase materials for coat rack and coffee table (and assemble if at all possible)
- Sort through cookbooks
- Take Goodwill
- Post ads for armoire, wedding dress
- Contact comic store re: comics
- Plan Mom’s presents and order components

::sighs::

I’ve done precisely one of these things – I’m about halfway through the cookbooks. However, I have tomorrow off; I’ll knock out a few more of these things between now and Tuesday…

...or else I will make myself a challenge goal. How’s that for a threat?

A fair amount of progress

Today I finished cleaning the house, sorted through the cookbooks (and even grouped the recipes I clipped by type for easy searching!), and did some present planning. After I work out and shower, I will post ads for the armoire and wedding dress, put in the maintenance requests, and email the comic store. Which leaves:

- Exchange ThinkGeek t-shirt
- Return Victoria’s Secret clothes
- Get car’s oil changed
- Purchase materials for coat rack (the coffee table will have to wait until I’m done Christmas shopping)
- Take Goodwill
- (new one) Answer all pending emails

The challenge remains: I will do these things by next Monday or face the wrath of the challenge goal.

Yes, I know I make no sense. Somehow this is more palatable than having a big yellow threat at the top of my list. :)

Uncle Enore looks just like his silly-assed dog.

WHAT?

Return stuff to Victoria’s Secret?

It's ok

It’s only because they don’t fit. :)

Nothing exciting, anyway…a (regular) bra, a top, and a pair of pants.

Oh.

So nothing erection inducing?
