How can ou want to study under Lessig and actually want to create more patents? I’m neither for or against, but it would be interesting to hear you tell him that in his classroom… and make it out alive. Nevertheless, good, interesting entries. Keep up the good work, especially if you really plan on going to Lessig’s class. You better hurry up, you might not make it to fifty;/

And get the courage to use his/her real name in a public forum.
People don’t get patents just so that they can litigate to prevent others from infringing on their inventions. They can also get a patent to certify that they were the first to have invented something novel. I’m sure that Lawrence Lessig wouldn’t argue against that.
