I should do this and get my name out but I’m a little discouraged because of my instrument. I did this before at Redlands on a smaller scale but I only ended up with one student and he ended up going off to college majoring in some kind of science and stopped taking lessons. My friend Rachel plays flute and she did the same thing and ended up with 8 students really quickly. I used to play flute but it’s been awhile and I don’t think I’m qualified to teach anyone other than beginners, if that.
I’d like to find ways to get more publicity and give the oboe more publicity. Fliers should be a start but there must be more to this.
