Fast enough for a seeded number in the Crescent City Classic 10k in the spring even if I was a few seconds off my all-time PR.
I love running in shorts on warm, sticky mornings in the middle of November. I love even more having a real mattress for when it actually gets cold.

Crazy… you must have been the girl right in front of me!!! Did you stop when you were getting your finish sticker? Remember a short girl with braids- I think you passed me up in the last stretch because I remember thinking “great, now people are passing me up because I started too fast.”
Congrats for finishing 36th! (really, it’s not bad out of the approximately 400 women there. I have to remind myself of that.)

I was wearing blue shorts and a Baltimore 1/2 Marathon shirt. All I remember thinking once I got on the track was that I was going to make it in under 25 minutes. :-)
