This afternoon I went to the beach and took my new cheap quality paints and paintbrushes with me, (I’m in st martin now, I was lucky to find anything) determined to put paint to paper.
I did it! I painted a pretty good little seascape. My buddies were surprised I actually made a nice picture. It’s the best I could do. It required a lot of concentration and my back and legs hurt from sitting in an awkward position for so long. But it was worth it.
