I finally took a close look at my gutters this weekend and I ran into an issue. If I were to install a rain barrel now, it would have to be blocking the front door.

If I’m going to do this, I’ll have to re-route or maybe replace my gutters first, which in reality needs to be done anyway because of the stupid way the previous owner installed the deck’s roof over the top of a gutter. This may be more motivation to get the gutters worked out. Why didn’t I get started on this before the rain started?
