Ruth deduced, we are pretty sure... 2 years ago

that the Bangers and Mash were not authentic, because in England, the bangers … well, as she said, “look less appealing and [as she recalls] didn’t taste as good [as these]”

You’d have to be a professional editor to tighten that phrase up.

These bangers were pretty tasty. Must have come from Wisconsin.

RuthG wishes you the merriest of Christmas revelries!

(Oh I hope

my British 43T friends aren’t offended by that! Let me hasten to add that my experience of bangers is from 1980-81, long ago. Perhaps they’ve evolved in tastiness in the intervening decades.)

Bangers and Mash

Personally, I am a fan of English Sausages….

Try them with apples next time!

I liked the bacon

in England, but the sausage was so so. I am spoiled by all of the Wisconsin bratwurst we get over here. But the bacon was really, really good.

Bill is going to Chicago for five days starting 12/23 has gotten 1 cheer on this entry.
