Did this as part of double date many, many years ago and it was fun.
I suspected, at the time, that it would be sexual. It was not. It was quite freeing swimming in the dark water in the night. It was impossible to tell where the water ended and the sky began.
I remember the outline of the shore. Lights on distant homes. The stars.

Amy was reluctant at first keeping a tee shirt on and eventually throwing it onto the dock. I remember the sound of the wet green tee shirt hitting the dock: “splock.”
Afterwards, we ate crackers on the deck as Denise was diabetic.
We’d have all be high school seniors at the time.
