Wow.. You are really getting better, I’ve read your entries.. So, just so you know, Finnish is the 2nd hardest language in the world (right after China) and we know that very well. So whenever some one knows even a bit of Finnish we all get superexited :D So don’t be afraid to “show off” your language skills, even if they are crappy, ‘cause it’s okay if it won’t go right, it’s still Finnish and it’s cool someone botheres to learn it!

One time I walked into a small cafe with some new friends and ordered my coffee, and doughnut and other stuff in Finnish.
The cafe sort-of stopped and lots of people laughed.
I asked if I’d said anything wrong, and they said no… it was just really strange to have a foreigner speaking Finnish.

I like languages, having grown up learning 4 in my home. When I contemplate learning a new language, my choices are usually colored by my goals, interests, etc. My curiosity was piqued by your choice of Finnish. Hence the question.
