I know there’s a movie called “Cross my heart”. But I actually think it was inspired from another movie, a Jacques Fansten movie called La fracture du myocarde (1990), that is also translated as Cross my heart. But there’re actually two movies. And I think there’s also a movie from 198… something Lol called cross my heart, but that’s something all different.
The story is about Martin, 12, who finds his mother dead in her bed. he thinks she had a fracture of the heart. He starts by hiding it to everyone, because he’s afraid to go to the assistance, buthis friends at school find it out, and they’re gonna start helping him a very unusual way.
Literally, you translate it Fracture of the myocardium, which is impossible as you can only have a fracture of a bone. It’s really seen as children, with nonsense and innocence. It’s sad, but but depressing as if it was seen with adults’ eyes. It’s more about life actually. And friendship too.
