Parrots are a passion of mine; from the smallest to the biggest. So often, they are bought by people with no real knowledge of what they are getting in to. Once those people realize the work involved in caring for a bird, the noise they can make, and all of the other things that unscrupulous pet shops and breeders dont warn people about, the birds are given up or banished to dark closets, garages, etc…

My dream is to someday be able to have 10-15 acres with some large buildings where I can house these feathered angels, care for them properly, and give them a home for the rest of their lives. The many refuges that are open now around the country are simply overwhelmed by the numbers of birds in need.
