I started working on the plank when I started working with a trainer last winter. Unwisely, I took a long exercise hiatus over the warmer months and just started in with serious weight training again in September. I went from about 10 seconds (lame, I know) up to about 42 fairly quickly, but I haven’t been working on it lately. I don’t have any sessions with my trainer until after new years, so I’ll have to work on this on my own so I don’t slip back on time. Putting this up here is a great reminder/motivator, so now I’m psyched. So, fairly straightforward goal, i’ll have achieved it when I can hold for 60, nah let’s say 61 seconds for good measure. Obstacles? None, really, just need to stay motivated. I’m glad there are a couple of others out there with the same goal – keep me posted on your progress/succes. Thanks – db
