save my marriage (read all 6 entries…)
Should I stay or should I go? 1 year ago

I really don’t know if this marriage is worth saving anymore. We blew up at each other tonight while we were both drunk and said some hurtful things. He has made me miserable for far too long and I think that this was the last straw.

BS

THe key too every good relationship is comunncation. No JOke. It may sound simple but 1 you have to ask yourself why what he or she said hurt or bothered you. Then 2 TELL THEM. 3 Stop saying YOU YOU YOU and start saying I feel, I think , my reaction is, THAT WILL HELP ALOT. Not one person in the world likes to be blamed for everything so start taking responablity for you actions and behavers. 4 goes along with 1, you must ALWAYS explain what you feel, and go to yYOUR PARTNER! NONE OF YOUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY CAN HELP YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONE BESIDES EACH OTHER! AS SOON AS YOU START TURNING TOO EACH OTHER AND NOT THE WORLD YOU WILL SEE AN AMZING CHANGE. And if you cant do that then your not ready for commitment. Its that easy.

Hope you are doing better today...

I saw another entry where you mentioned that you’re not doing so well and falling apart…I just wanted to say that I hope you’re doing better today. Remember the fight you had was one where both of you were drunk, so don’t put so much weight on what was said…a drunken conversation isn’t one that has much value. My prayers and thoughts are with you. You are not alone.

Hope things are better

I can realte and the feeling of guilt and hurt you feel from saying horrible things and remembering the things he said is sooo painful, that is 1 of the main reasons I am trying to quit drinking…. my husband and I fight 90% of the time we drink, and as Im sure you know, the things said are the most painful and inconsiderate things in the world!!! I’m sure everything will be alright, just try to talk it out ! :)(sober!!!!) :)

txdiva has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
