I get so close with this goal, and then I mess it all up. The first time, I was one pound away. The second time, two pounds away. Today, I’m 19 pounds away. I don’t want to change my eating habits. I do want to drink more water and exercise more. I’ll work on those habits. At the very least, that should slow down or stop the weight gain.

Eating habits

I’ve found that I don’t need to change my eating habits drastically, just tweak them a little bit. I’ve been tracking my food on SparkPeople, which I have found to be truly helpful. I have found that if I were to just cut my portions a teeny tad, or pass up just one treat here and there, I would be a lot closer to my target consumption levels. I’m hoping that with a little exercise, I can work off the extra pounds I’ve gained, and then with a little tweaking, I will reach a level of eating that I can maintain. I hope!
