doing things that you aren’t comfortable doing. Most things that I would like to change about myself are things that I don’t because they make me nervous about how others will perceive me. There will always be the girl that I saw somewhere and wondered if I should have started a conversation with her. I am generally a non-conformist, but even I conform in some instances because not comforming makes me self-conscious because I feel like I’m drawing attention to myself. I think the key is to just do the things that you are scared to do and keep doing them until they either don’t get a reaction from others or you don’t care what the reaction is. The problem for me is that I’ve tried, but I always give up after a few days, the loss of my “comfort zone” is too much for me to keep going. This is what truly keeps me from acheiving this goal.
