Rome (and internet) 2 years ago

Now I’m in Rome, living in the Eternal City since November the 1st.

What can I say about this? The place is amazing, but all you already know that. The public transportation doesn’t works very well (it’s terrible, to tell you more precisely) and the traffic is chaotic. Anyway, I’ve never really cared about these little problems. I prefer a bit of chaos instead of a too peaceful life in a small town (that’s why I’m not living im Perugia anymore, it was boring me to death).

Here I don’t study, I work only. I don’t enjoy my job very very much, but that’s fine, since I have no intention of being a saleswoman for my intire life.

And I still dream about London.

Ps.: I have internet at home! Yay!

Italy

I was in Sarteano last September, and I dream of the day that I can return…. I am envious… I have been looking into working there and for a non EU citizen it will be difficult. I met a guy that has a shop and told me that if I could learn Italian he would hire me. He was surprised at how quikly I learned. French is my second language and I get by with Spanish…Throughout my life I have always been able to drop what I was doing and go… maybe when I get done with this degree it will be easier…

Ciao, Kelly

...

Our situation seems to be a little similar, you know… I also haven’t finished my deegre yet (and I have no idea of what I really would like to do for the rest of my life). The different part is that I’ll get out of Italy as soon as I can. I cannot deal anymore with such bureaucracy and disorganization. I got it enough in Brazil, thanks.

... has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
