finish my NANO novel (read all 6 entries…)

I wrote a couple pages today.  — 9 months ago

Nanowrimo is officially over and still I am moving forward on this project that I started until it is finished. I still have a way to go.

And I already have an idea for next years Nanowrimo. I will get a outline and character bios ready. I am so pumped about this now.

I must not freak out in excitement that might cause me to just stop moving forward all together. Just one day at a time. Goal: To write another 50,000 from December 1st to 31st. I am counting down once again, starting tomorrow. This way I can get my novel finished.

Round Two

I’m up to 53,454 words. I’m going to continue writing everyday, but at a more relaxed pace. I’m setting a goal of 75,000 by the end of December and 90,000 by the end of January. I think that ought to do it for this draft. Then begins the revision in Jan/Feb, then the editing in March, then I’m hoping to pitch it at the Pikes Peak Writers Conference in April.

I’ll be checking in with you from time to time to keep you honest. :)
