im 15 now and i have just learned to deal with it, i dont have crooked teeth or anything so i just gave up, ill just be like one of those people who just never stopped

im 15 too but and im trying sooo hard! im good at stopping for bits and pieces of time but then a little thing happens and im sucking away without even thinking! my teeth are terrible and i cant get my braces to fix them! even though they didnt work for you, what methods have you used? i am running out of ideas. do you just suck at night?
yes i do, its easy for me cuz ive been doing it for years, cuz i dont want to be seen, i think about humiliation everytime i suck my thumb, even at night. I think that i cant have live with other people knowing about my problem so i just say to myself “wht would other people think?” : “how many kids would tease me if they saw me?” : “how bad would the punishment be if i kept doing this?” : “What would my boyfriend think?!”. I just think those things and its amazingly powerful the way it works, sometimes i dont even suck my thumb at nite!
