lose 20 pounds and keep it off (read all 5 entries…)
Frustration 2 years ago

I took about a year off and hadn’t gone to the gym in about 6 months. I started to work out again a month ago, but I’m completely frustrated. I want to take off everything I put on, but it doesn’t seem like its really coming off. I do 45 minutes of cardio and weights 4 times a week. My diet is probably the only wild card, though I don’t think I’m eating super bad.

I was inspired by some things I read today online, so I think I’m actually going to start keeping a journal of my fitness goals. I think I have to start counting calories again too. Which I hate. But, I guess its absolutely necessary. I’ll keep posting on this topic.

exercise

no one actually keeps up with going to the gym regularly. What you need is some form of exercise (like a sport) that you love to do because it is fun, not because it is exercise, that way you’ll keep up with it. Have you tried capoeira? I’ve done it for like 2 years and absolutely love it! Plus it is an AMAZING workout. If you don’t know what capoeira is, look it up on you tube. There are a ton of videos online. Oh, and don’t ever look at it and say “I can’t do that, I’m not fit, strong, graceful…whatever enough for that” Everyone was once a beginner. Anyways I feel kinda weird that I’m actually commenting on someone’s 43 things because I rarely even go on mine. I searched for a goal relating to school stress and I saw your blog. School is so stressful!
