I started my ISS file! This means that I’m officially getting the ball rolling for maybe going abroad to teach in 2008-2009!

I’ve still got some hurdles though. First and foremost, I will need to have a chat with my supervisor about possibly leaving, and to get his approval/recommendation. Then, I’ll need to get my file approved—kind of a 50/50 tossup, because although I will surely be graduating in June 2008 from grad school, the ISS folks can’t be sure of that from my file…
