Now that it is coming up on Christmas, I decided that one of my new priorities is to donate (both time and money) to the less fortunate. I settled on volunteering for a food drive (regularly), and have joined a program to sponsor a child’s Christmas, by bying gifts, clothing, food vouchers, games, etc… wrapping them and sending them for Christmas. While I know that this program is helpful and makes the child happy, I cannot help but wonder, does it count as being a good person if, although you do good things, you sometimes do things that you are not as proud of? Just a question that I’ve been considering lately…
I did a good thing, but does that define me as a good person?
