For once, I’m altering a goal to make it “tougher” instead of easier. Instead of taking the entire 3 years to read the 23 books, I now believe that I can read at least 23 books within a year. After that, I will adopt the Readers’ Challenge next goal (33 more books) but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Probably more realistic
I adopted the “read 100 books” goal myself, but now am questioning whether I can do it. I mean, do you read the thick meaty books or do children’s books count? (If kids books counted I’d have it made by now!). I always tend to shoot too high, so we’ll see what happens.
Your adjusted goal looks very achievable and I think you can do it. Just be sure to pace yourself and get in the habit of reading at a regular time or keeping the book with you to read when you have to wait for something (like in a doctor’s office). Good luck!
More than realistic
Yes, as it turns out, the first 2 months I have read about 4 books each month. That puts me at 23 books after just half a year.
Unfortunately for me, the restrictions are clear on which books I can count—they have to be from the adult or young adult sections, checked out of my library.
Eliza Marie is feeling great!
