Just saw this Joaquin Pheonix and Mark Wahlberg flick a short while ago because I really like them both and quite enjoyed it.

I am not overly a huge fan of police dramas, but this was quite captivating – the opening sequence sure got the attention of every male in the audience, but I was suprised to see it was rated 15!

It was very looong – I needed two toilet breaks – but there was action, there was suspense and there was Joaquin doing his patented druggie/drunk act for a while.

I came away feeling sorry for Eva Mendes’ character, however, and not that bothered about the brothers. 6.5/10
