go vegan
Untitled

For awhile I had mostly cut out milk, eggs, gelatin, cheese (unless on pizza) but I’ve finally decided to become 100% vegan. I’m reading food labels to make sure theres no derivatives or animal byproducts in them and I’ve also started eating more fruits and vegetables! The one thing I really miss is milk chocolate, but some vegan brands make chocolate with soy or rice milk and it tastes surprisingly close to the real thing. Dark chocolate is a fine replacement especially for chips in cookies, and I can have Ghiradelli double chocolate hot cocoa mix too, so I think I’ll be ok :) Oh and I LOVE Vegan Gourmet mozzarella cheese!!!! It’s great on amys roasted vegetable pizza :) Thank goodness for whole foods

chocolate

i’m sorry to tell you this, but fyi chocolate is not vegan, not even vegetarian food becouse when cocoa is collected from the cocoa tree, it is impossible to avoid small insects… that is what i’ve heard… but i eat it anyway… sorry again :-(

It is impossible to avoid stepping on small insects when you go for a walk outside, or drive your car. You know insects get killed when crops are harvested at farms too? No one can avoid animal suffering 100%, and I’m not going to starve myself because some insects get killed. It’s sad, and I don’t mean to sound greedy or mean or anything, but it’s just impossible. It seems like a lot of vegans think being vegan is some kind of competetion to see who can be the most perfect, or pure. It’s stupid and a waste of time, in my opinion.

what a relief

that bug thing was allways bugging me – but not anymore! thank you for that information. i agree with you 100%
