I wrote a coverletter to go with my newly revised resume for my co-worker to submit to companies on her vacation time. We also finished revising hers.
Other good news is that I got responses to my resumes I have posted on Monster and Hotjobs. One is a recruiter I need to call next week because she left for Christmas break. She’s “very interested” in speaking with me. I know not to get my hopes up too much with these recruiters, but at least it was a call back.
Another was a company that e-mailed me for a temp-perm, minimum three month project. I’m not interested in temping, at least not now, but it’s nice that the interest is there.
