I’m so sick of worrying about having my inhalers on me at all times…I’m so sick of that lingering fear of another attack in the back of my head…I saw the commericial that says “If you use your rescue inhaler more than 2 times a week, your asthma is not under control.” and I just thought, 2 times a day would be nice much less 2 times a week. UGH just give me fully functioning lungs!!

Asthma
Asthma is controlled by the medications we take and even though some inhalers are called rescue inhalers, that just means your regular medicine (inhaled or not) are not to be used as a rescuer.
I use my so called rescue inhaler 2 or 3 times a DAY. My asthma is under control because I use my meds as directed.
That commercial you saw is a ploy to get you to ask your Dr. for the med it is selling. Trust me, been there, done that.
Along with my rescue inhaler I also use Symbicort (an inhaler, non rescue) and Singulair (a pill).
The 3 meds together keep my asthma under control but I take my rescue inhaler with me EVERYWHERE I go.
I’ve been doing this for 30+ years.
Best of luck to you!!
