I had filled out a few online applications yesterday at some places that had pique’d my interest and lo and behold, not more than ten minutes after I posted this list, I got a call and did a phone interview with one of them. And I have a job interview at 2 p.m. cdt with them for a cashier position. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s promising…

what job site did you use? i figured most of those companies got so many applicants that you’d never get picked out of the crowd..i guess it really works?!?

Actually, the place I applied is local to the city I live in, their website has an online application. It’s nothing huge, just a seven dollar an hour cashier job, but it’s something to get me out of the house and feeling like I’m not just wasting my life away.
