I have decided to this by neighborhood and chose to start with the one that I grew up in. Brentwood is a moderate-size neighborhood of primarily single family homes. The original developer (AdamsBilt) began building two houses at a time on a small street that he built, now Brentwood Rd., starting around 1955 with a small brick ranch floorplan. They built north and westward until it was built out around 1970. Most of the AdamsBilt houses follow one of three plans: Ranch, Split-level w/transverse gable on left end, and Split-foyer. They all feature at least one level in brick, hardwood floors and (in the post-1965 models except ranches) fireplaces. It also features an elementary school, community park, and a swim club. The main community groups are Brentwood Exchange Club and the Brentwood Neighborhood Association. Next will be Brentwood Today.
Today I finished my first neighborhood.
