Worth doing!

chapter one  — 7 months ago

I started reading this tonight. Well, I guess I started yesterday, but I needed to skim over the introduction again because I read that in the car. I can’t read in the car. I don’t comprehend. I get headaches I think.
I really hope I can read this by the end of the week. Although it’s a short book, it’s a remarkable read that beckons reflection. (awesome alliteration, huh?). I recently finished “Wild at Heart” which pointed out a lot of truths about men and their nature and a little bit of how that fits into our relationship with women. But that book was written for men who don’t like to read. It used a lot of contractions, quips and slang to make it more comfortable. “DTRIMOTH” bars no holds. It’s a very strict read that requires a quiet room and full attention. It’s no deep theology that took years to develop but it is very contrary to modern, accepted thought patterns.
I’m hoping to read another chapter tomorrow, then take all day saturday to finish it off.
