If only I had the patience and attention span! Being a psychiatrist was my dream for years but, having ADD, I seriously don’t feel qualified to treat people who are probably more sane than I am =P

Yes, I know. But it takes a lot to be a good doctor and I don’t have the focus for it.

I’ve been on all sorts of ADD/ADHD medication as well as antidepressants and while they do help, I still have issues with focusing.

If you’re passionate about a career path, you need to follow this and see where it leads you. Give yourself a chance! If it’s something you really care about, you will be focused and into it. I say go for it and bet you’ll surprise yourself. Have you ever tried yoga?
