hoping we can get some traction on a big 1br in a nice building in South Beach. but worried about the market slowing down. are people having luck getting ‘asking’?

Things are changing
I live in what has been a very hot market the last few years with 25% increase in housing prices last year. We listed ours in August and got a contract for the asking price within 5 days. After 30 days, the contract feel through. Our market has apparently died and we don’t have any lookers anymore. From what I read it depends on your own local market, but the fuel prices and all of this press about the bubble bursting seems to be having a very bad impact.
