my dad made me learn how to drive a standard before he would allow me to get my liscense. I thank him all the time now. I drive a Jeep, and a jeep just isn’t a jeep unless it is a standard. Hills are a bit scary, but obviously I’m still alive to tell the story :-)

I'm glad to know how to drive a stick myself
But am also glad my dad didn’t teach me as it turned out to be a great test of what guy would be right for me – a number tried unsuccessfully to teach me to drive a stick (one of us would get frustrated and we’d quit), where my now husband was patient and so I had yet another clue that he was the man for me (our 21st anniversary is this week, so the clues were pointing correctly).
As I side note, I see you have been to at least 100 countries and are only 18 – how did you pull that off? My son just turned 16 and has been to 32 countries and I’d like to get him half way to reaching his TCC membership goal before he turns 18, but doubt I’ll be able to do it as he’s in grad school and only gets two weeks of vacation a year. How many weeks a year do you usually vacation to have seen so many countries already (or do you have a job like entertainer that allows you to travel the world easily)?
