I have always been interested in helping those that are less fortunate. I believe that the homeless definitely qualify. Not only do they have nowhere to live, but more often than not they also suffer from other serious issues, joblessness, mental illness, substance abuse, etc.

I hope to volunteer very soon, and to one day become an integral part of a non-profit organization dedicated to helping both the homeless and mentally ill.
