This week I was finally brave enough to try the pickles I canned in August of 06. They weren’t bad…a little too vinegary. The baby loved them, though—an added bonus.

My Nannie and mother canned everything! I brewed beer a few times but, that doesn’t really count.

I’ve always wanted to try brewing beer, but I’ve been afraid of horrible results. That’s cool that your found your own way into something similar

It was easy!

You can get a kit online. I also bought a recipe book. I did cherry wheat beer, real cherries!
