Bisexual or full-on lesbian? Can’t tell yet.
What I do know is that my preferences are not considered ‘normal’ by my family’s stringent standards and for that reason they don’t know about them. They won’t think twice before disowning me, just as they did to a few of my relatives. So I’ll remain closeted to them for an indefinite period of time. I never came out to anyone in my high school social circle, because I fear the same rejection that awaits me when I come out to my family.

On a brighter note: since I started my freshman year at college, I have been open with people that live on my floor and have come out (in a way) to them….
