I’m in my senior year, and in my small-town school, I’m one of the best anime artists. this does NOT make me good. I’m my own worst critic- her arm’s too fat, his eye’s too lopsided, that cat’s face looks smushed. I keep getting told they’re really good, and maybe they are- from a distance. Anyone know how to help me just relax and enjoy my art, instead of striving for perfection?

wow, you are really good! It’s hard not to beat your self up over art. :p I would know. I don’t know how to tell to relax with art besides the obvious use of the word relax, but you just got to do it, really. I have a friend who is a goddess when it comes to anime drawing, but she is unhappy with her art most of the time. anyway, i don’t know if my rant was any help. lol
