And unless you are the only one doing this on this particular goal, the late fees aren’t worth it. Also, I had a great deal of trouble locating any book I was really looking for. I will continue to use the library, but only for certain things.

maybe you should talk to the librarian, to help you find what you’re looking for.

we can be remarkably resourceful and helpful, especially if you come to the reference desk when it’s not too busy.

of course there are unhelpful and grumpy people in every profession, so if at first you encounter one of these, do try, try again…
